Search costs and fees

General Searches: Where you are able to supply the full current name(s) of the person or married couple you wish us to find there is a standard fee of £50.00, but which is only payable if we are successful i.e. "no success - no fee".

Adoption/Birth mother: The total cost of finding a birth mother is very difficult to estimate, as it will depend on how much information (if any) you have already been able to find.

In general we will try to locate a birth mother within the standard fee of £50.00, plus the cost of any marriage or other certificates which may need to be purchased. Obviously we would have no idea at this stage how many times she may have married, if at all.

The marriage indexes contain limited information so for a birth mother with a common maiden name, we may not be able to identify the correct marriage. In this case the only option is to buy copies of the actual certificates, in the hope that one will contain enough identifying information, such as age at time of marriage, occupation, address, name of father etc

Old Friends or relatives: This would normally come under the standard fee of £50.00 on a "no success - no fee" basis.

Family search: The cost of this type of search is variable, depending on what information you wish us to find regarding a particular family.

Surname Search: Cost will depend on the number of matches found to the search criteria that you supply.
